History

1971: Mr. George Koumbas starts his career as insurance consultant for: «PLYTAS Insurance Group» and «ASTHR S.A».
1973: Establishment of «G. KOUMBAS & Partners Ltd.» as insurance agent for the companies: «PLYTAS Insurance Group», «ASTHR S.A.», «NATIONAL INSURANCE» and «Insurance Group N.MAKROPOULOS S.A.».
1975: «G. KOUMBAS & Partners Ltd.» becomes General Agent for insurance companies «AIOLIS S.A.», «AMERICAN S.A.».
1977: Establishment of «KOUMBAS & Partners REPRESENTATIVES of INSURANCE COMPANIES S.A.», cooperating with all insurance companies in the Greek market.
1981: Installation of the company in its privately owned offices on 2 King Contantine street in Athens.
1988: The company becomes one of the founding members of the Hellenic Insurance Broker's Association (HIBA).
1992: Establishment of «EUROBROKERS INSURANCE BROKERS S.A.», operating as an independent insurance broker in the Greek and international markets.
1995: Relocation of «EUROBROKERS INSURANCE BROKERS S.A.» in the new privately owned head offices in Marousi.
2000: Transformation of «KOUMBAS INSURANCE ADVISORY SERVICES S.A.» to a holding company, «KOUMBAS SYNERGY GROUP» and transfer of all Insurance activities to «EUROBROKERS INSURANCE BROKERS S.A.»
2000: Expansion in Northern Greece with the acquisition of the portfolio of the Insurance Agents company «Insurance Agency TSASI Ε.Ε.»
2001: Award of Quality certification, according to ΙSO 9001:2000 standard by the International Certification Agency European Quality Assurance (EQA).
2002: «EUROBROKERS INSURANCE BROKERS S.A.» is established as Insurance Consultant for large public and private enterprises in the Greek market.

2004: «EUROBROKERS INSURANCE BROKERS S.A.» is listed in the Athens Stοck Exhange.
